I knew his work already from his third LP with Melina Kana called “Της Μέρας και της Νύχτας” (Day’s and Night’s). But I did not know that it was his until I saw this video. Then is when I actually found out about him. That is almost 16 years ago. Since then his songs became something like a religion… I could hear them over and over again, non-stop.

I hope I ‘ll make it to one of his concerts this summer, somewhere in Greece. It ’s been 3 years since the last one. I found out that my oud (ούτι) instructor Kyriakos is playing with him at his concerts now. How amazing is that!

The song is called “Τσιγάρο ατέλειωτο” (everlasting cigarette), from his third LP “Κύκλος” (circle).
